When working in coro mode reader.execute() calls to base class operator()

Description

I've been trying to test coro mode... but for some reason reader.execute() calls to base class operator() which just return 0. Looks like this is somehow connected to c++0x features that I compile the code with.
What can I do with that besides switching off c++0x? Can these virtual functions be simplified somehow?

Environment

Ubuntu 13.10 x64 gcc4.8
